As we move into the heart of state budget season, we are also moving into a critical time for our Ch.78 and ESP Job Justice bills. As a result of the great work done by NJEA staff and members, including at last week’s May Day events across the state, our campaign is gaining both attention and momentum. Thank you for the work you did to make that day a success.
Our next major public pressure point will come on May 15, when NJEA members will be gathering at 15 legislative offices across the state to urge those legislators to sign on to our three bills. This is an important public demonstration that will require the support and participation of NJEA members to make the greatest possible impression.

Thank you in advance for your support of this important Day of Action.
On May 3rd, 2019 the HCEA had their 5th annual Friends of Education Gala at Razberry’s in Frenchtown. Once again it was a great night and we presented three awards to well deserving “friends of education”.
